I think it's just the lettering that has been replaced , the Gable is in the same position .

So the badge is off-centre, for some reason, and the pic still doesn't show whether the gable has been moved or not (I suspect not, but the OP seemed to indicate that it had been)

The gable isnt the best shape
I dont think the badge is off centre
The left side is slightly longer than the right sight &
Less steep to the peak

The badge looks like it's about 1 inch right of centre, but it looks really good so I'm not going to be pedantic about it.

Was in the old National Society of Electrotyper & Stereotyper and as you know ultimately amalgamated with the NGA
