Probably the same bunch who booed the knee, and have been booing some Croatian players. England do have their fair share of brain-dead mutants supporting them. Always have done.
Probably the same bunch that were singing No Surrender. Dicks.

Group stages mean nothing. Scores for show doubles for a pro.

Sarcasm?

Very low public interest here, even lower expectations.

Of course. I'm just going with the hilarious attempts from certain sections of the commentariat to suggest that England fans booing of anti-racist gestures is down to opposition to a certain socio-economic ideology.

However, the joke is on me. The use of "there" instead of "they're" in my post is horrifying.

A win is a win against a relatively poor team, our tactics leave an awful lot or be desired

Disappointed in the lack of booing but the happy clappy’s have infiltrated England’s support in the last few years. Game was boring.

Playing Trippier at left back is a joke. Doesn’t Southgate know that he has played right back all season? Absolutely baffling.

Well done England. Not the greatest of games entertainment-wise but good to start the tournament with a win, considering they had not won their opening game at the Euros before.

In years gone by that would've been a draw

The errors were frustrating but we were in charge the entire match and the much talked about concerns about defence seem a long away away

They’re not even remotely a poor side. They didn’t play very well going forward today, but I fully expect them to win both of their other games.

Impressed with the second half. Much better tempo and much more movement amongst the three behind Kane. Phillips the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Outstanding display. Not overly impressed by the fullbacks - hopefully Southgate will give TAA and one of the left backs a run out against the group minnows on Friday.

TAA is out of the tournament, remember.
