Crisp sandwhich is amazing and one of life’s better sandwhich and savoury snack combo’s. You can’t whack it.

Beef dripping on bread was a regular treat and lovely remember in the seventies the burger stands outside the O's used to serve up hamburgers made in a boiling water ( i think ) and they were a bit undercooked in appearance. They looked horrible but me and my mates always bought one or two every match.

Not had it in years, like I had it as a kid. Although on my 20oz corn fed rib eye I had the other day it had been dripping sauce with it. Lovely.

You mean Westlers burgers, they came out of a long can and stunk like hell. You knew when you was near Brisbane Road by the stench of the burger stalls.AckneyAwks wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 9:27 pm Beef dripping on bread was a regular treat and lovely remember in the seventies the burger stands outside the O's used to serve up hamburgers made in a boiling water ( i think ) and they were a bit undercooked in appearance.
