Agree bigron its a good film. Growing up as a kid I used to love watching laurel and Hardy. Proper slapstick comedy.

Reruns of Reggie Perrin starting next week on BBC4. I didn't get where I am today by not recommending classic sitcoms.

Mrs Spike and I recently started Breaking Bad and are watching 2 or 3 episodes each night. Now about halfway through the final series. Very much enjoying it.

Gawd knows why it took me so long to get around to it - I was late to the Game of Thrones party too. I blame Mrs S for poo-pooing my TV suggestions until I wear her down.

Next on the agenda - although she's already saying stuff like "I don't hold with spin-offs" ! We'll get there. And there's a movie too I think.

Yesterday I watched the film entitled Yesterday.

I can recommend it solely for the vicious dig at Oasis which was amusing.

Train to Busan

A stormer of a Korean zombie-flick, wherein the zombies are upwardly mobile in the style of Usain Bolt..

Also gregg Wallace big weekend or something. I hate him but can’t help watch him. Literally a laugh a minute at how cringe he is.

This time with Alan partridge..hit and miss. Laugh out loud at some and other bits must have sounded funny on paper but miss the target. It’s no ‘I’m’.

Motherland...enjoyed this Season. Always funny.

Inside no9...really enjoying this season. Engrossing half hours

Just seen the 4th Predator film, "The Predator", if there is any way to kill off a fantastic franchise then this film is how to do it. I have never seen
a more shockingly rank, bad imitation of truly brilliant franchise than this one. Like Alien 1 and 2 and Predator 1 and 2 both excellent films the
later ones, trying to cash in, are always rubbish.

Right - Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul done - very much enjoyed both and looking forward to the last series of BCS.

Have now started The Handmaid's Tale - (I know, late again). It's great.
