How inconvenient for you. I'm sure Boris will be happy to arrange the plan for the nation around your weekend.

Full opening up with vaccine passports is the way forward once all adults have been offered dose 1. Give freedom back to the vaccinated while also protecting them from the morons.

Those that were lazy or believed Twitter over the science need to be excluded. The added pressure might stop them being so retar*ed

NHS to issue exemption badges for those medically unable to get a vaccine.

If you have vaccine, why do you need protection from those who have not?

I have been looking at the figures throughout Europe wondering why the UKs number of cases is so high compared to other countries. No doubting what a horrible virus this is but it just strikes me that although the vaccines are in most part doing there job our case rates seem to be growing exponentially compared with other parts of Europe.

Looking at PCR testing and the recommendations for running the test threw up some UK oddities. The test is designed to be run over 25 thermal cycles. The WHO recommends 28 cycles to catch borderline cases. someone infected and shedding virus would normally show up on the 6th or 7th cycle and those with the least amount of virus would take more cycles to detect. In the UK we are running tests at 40 to 45 thermal cycles this means anyone with the faintest signs of dormant Covid cells will show as a positive case.

Someone looking into the data (far cleverer than me) using the freedom of information act has calculated that cases would be between 63 and 90% lower using the WHO max of 28 thermal cycles as a standard. Also if deaths were redefined as Deaths caused by Covid rather the patients with Covid in the last 28 days they would halve.
