Marcus Rashford
Being very careful to avoid any accusation of trolling this fine young man who has been an inspiration to so many, I do feel it incumbent upon me to observe:
Rashford is a very poor finisher who will probably never quite fulfil his potential. Personally I feel he is lucky to be in the England squad right now especially with more natural goal poachers such as Danny Ings and Patrick Bamford available.
I would be delighted if Marcus proves me wrong, but having observed some of the widest cross section of flawed front men bestriding the hallowed turf at Brisbane Road for the past 5 decades, I think I know substandard striker when I see one.

Re: Marcus Rashford
He’s sh*t. Poor finishing and poor decision making. That being said, last night, he made about 6 or 7 attempts to run in behind and the ball went sideways instead.

Re: Marcus Rashford
And how many times have we seen Raheem Sterling, in an England shirt, run into a dead end.

Can you ever have a discussion about anything without seeing things that aren’t there?

Re: Marcus Rashford
How often do you watch him? I was at his league debut when he scored against Arsenal and have watched him week in week out for 5 years. I know how much he has plateaued and his qualities and faults as a player. This is his level, he won’t improve beyond this.
Imply it to be a racial thing all you want, it probably is from the others but it certainly isn’t from me.

Re: Marcus Rashford
Genuinely some of the worst possible takes all round here and a reminder why Orient fans who only watch league 2 football should stay in their lane when discussing premier league players

Re: Marcus Rashford
His speed makes him look a better player and his celebrity. Maybe Jack Wiltshire or Theo Wallcott is a good future comparison. I wouldnt start him for England they have many better options now but would take him for the trip.

Re: Marcus Rashford
I think he's already fulfilling his potential. He's a decent top level player, but is not world class. Greenwood is for me the one who has the real potential to be world class.

Re: Marcus Rashford
He's obviously not sh*t, but he has been played into the ground and it shows. All of his energy and inventiveness seems to have been squeezed out of him the second half of this season. He's played over 300 senior games and he's only 23. It's an awful lot for a young winger who's dependent on their physicality.
Hope he turns it around, cause the way he uses his platform is phenomenal for a 23 year old. And the level of racist abuse he gets is incredibly depressing.

Re: Marcus Rashford
It is strange that out of all the young Premiership footballers, Marcus is the one that comes in for this sort of critique.

Then how do you manage to watch him week in week out?
