Overall, the bets placed by Scholes totalled £26,159 and he made a profit of £5,831.

Will have about the same impact as if an average man in the street was fined 50 pence !!

Ever since he 'retired' from international football, I've had no time for Scholes, but I fail to see what he's done wrong here. As a joint owner of a club that was not involved how could he have had any influence in the outcomes of the matches. It seems like madness.

Mind you, on the other hand, I think serves him right for being him!!!
