Nothing too inspiring in there. I guess it’s difficult to get too excited about dropping to L2.

With regards to the players in negotiation, I’d give them a call over the weekend, get them in Monday for a one on one with Kenny and tell them they can let us know on Tuesday if they’re in or out.
The new boss is in, no need to piss about anymore.

That’s not how these things work. According to Matt Porter a player has 28 days whether to accept or decline a contract from when offeredRonnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 3:38 pm With regards to the players in negotiation, I’d give them a call over the weekend, get them in Monday for a one on one with Kenny and tell them they can let us know on Tuesday if they’re in or out.

You are 100% correct RedDwarf. There are lots on here, particularly the younger element, who think they know it all, but it's older folks, who have loved and lived a long time, that know the most.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 4:56 pmThat’s not how these things work. The players in question were offered new deals on 11th may, so if you include the day they were told of the offer, leaves 17 days to make their minds up one way or the other.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 4:56 pmThat’s not how these things work. What happens if Kenny Jackett doesn’t agree with offering new contracts to Vigs, DJ , Wilko etc ??
And if he wants to keep some of the released players.........I’m assuming Jobi and ML made these decisions

Well being as that information was made official by the club on 11th May 2021, I can only presume that the 28 days spoken of would be starting from that very same day of 11th May 2021.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 6:49 pmCheers. Yes spotted it as well, However well Done Martin and all those involved, the most exciting managerial signing since the 60's, I'll put £20 down on us to be champions in first season with Kenny, congratulations to Nigel and Kent, Kenney is well worth the money.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 3:26 pmYes I heard that one as well !BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 3:24 pm Well well well.
