No. A comment was made, I disagreed and gave reasons why. The issue is too many on this forum prefer to trade insults rather than debate. Sad. But some just don’t have the brains. Or want to engage what brains they have. As soon as that happens I just assume my opinion was correct.

I would hate for people to think insults bother me. They don’t. Not in the least. I have less than zero respect for some on this forum, so why would their opinion matter?

This is what Is hard to understand. We all of us have personal life experiences, we all learn from them, we all form opinions based on them. Our views are our views, right or wrong. What is the problem in explaining a view based on personal experience. Is that not what life is about.

The Pride bit is a leap. Listen to football shows, players recounting their past exploits. Is that wrong? Pride? Just one example.

But you are right about one thing. Some people start from a very low point and do well in life through sheer hard work and a bit of luck. A reason to be proud? You tell me.

What i took from your postings was you got senior jobs after being interviewed by unknowledgeable people, who appoint more based on things like personality (jobs for the boys).
