Admin being referred to as Ted Cruelly is quite amusing though

Heh. Posting rates have always ebbed and flowed here. There’s always been a hard core over there who are obsessed with what’s happening over here.

Disoriented’s just bitter about being outed as pretending to Mungo over here.

Mungos much more neat and tidy about his board. I tend to think of his being a nice mid 1930’s end of terrace house with a garage whilst this one situated opposite is basically a run down tower block with flat roof pub and Alsatian roaming wild on it.

The picture that gives me is they are middle class and we're working class . Just for the record Admin, your board is far better than theirs . On this board we argue and disagree but at least it feels alive . The other board feels as dead as a door nail.

Thanks - to be honest I've never quite got the other place's obsession with here. There's been 2 boards for many years - the main difference is this is a place for Orient fans to chat about anything whereas Mungo's is for Orient fans to chat Orient.

There has been some migration over there and there's clearly a bit more activity which is fair enough. It does make me chuckle to see ex-boarders over there slagging this place off and crawling up Mungo's rear end. Thankfully, such boot licking activity is severely frowned upon here.

Mungo's forum is mostly made up of refugees from here, they've been quietly chatting among themselves for several years now. It seems to me that slow migration from here to there has increased dramatically of late. At a guess, the traffic volume is about 50-50 now between the two groups.
I like both, there they prefer technical discussions about football and club politics and place a much higher value on civility. Here you get some good sharp wit and cutting humour which is also OK but sometimes people go over the top and so lose the like of Andy Gilson. I don't see the need for the two to refer to each other in any way, going over there to wind them up may seem amusing but is probably self destructive to the health of this place. Taking the pee out of Mungo and his group smacks of desperation on the part of the people here who do it.

Gilso will be back. If there is one quality he has it is indefatigability, as well as being pig headed and stubborn, prone to flouncing and doing a racism.

My point exactly Slacker, we have two very diverse forums, use the one which best suits you, I use both, depending on the subject. Shooting at each other across no man's land merely reduces the credibility of the person doing the shooting.

Sure - there's a migration recently although as I'm not really here that much there's probably a mixture of reasons for it. Gilso will be back.

TBH, I'm just genuinely puzzled by BrentwoodO. He's regularly going on about what a **** I am but when questioned on it, can't do much more than throw insults about.

I just find it quite amusing that there's posters over there slagging this place off for being a cesspit in comparison to Mungo's board but in the same breath will refer to me as a c*** or issue thinly veiled threats of violence. The irony of this seems to be lost on them.

Still think there's room for both places as they offer different things.

It seems to me that the intra-Orient bickering which makes us all look like idiots will quickly come to an end.
It won't happen of course, someone will always have a snide dig which will produce a response and we'll be back in the poo again. The real shame is that we all think we are mature and intelligent individuals but the evidence proves that is not the case.

Some proper wierdos on the lofc#. Most of them are grown men , who take LOFC way too seriously. I take it the Stand Up for Orient on FB is still going strong?

Even the FB groups are constantly posting "adsolutely disgusting" and suchlike. "Wage Thief" and all manner of other over-emotional outbursts.
We all get disappointed when we see a bad result/performance but I do find it pathetic when grown people can't keep a civil tongue in their head.
