Did you know that the Pope does not get paid? He is committed to living in poverty.

What about the worst? Or do we not want to get into bashing the bishop?

But for a candidate and my view is formed by the "Last Kingdom" series of books, of which I've just finished reading the supposed last in the series, Wulfhelm - 926 to 941 - seems to have been a right so and so for that position.

Do you know it’s very rare for the arch bishop to take services at his cathedral? What’s that all about?

Re: Who is your favourite Archbishop of Canterbury?
Short answer and hope this helps - The Archbishop presides over major services at Canterbury Cathedral, such as Easter, Whitsun and Christmas, but is based in Lambeth Palace, London as historically he/she (though there have only been males in the post) is the Monarch's Clergyman. The Dean is the Head of the Clergy at the Cathedral.

Yeah I knew he was based at Lambeth palace, but didn’t think about the link to the monarch. Thanks you learn something everyday.

Re: Who is your favourite Archbishop of Canterbury?
I always thought he was known as "Thomas a Becket" but looking at various history websites today, I see he wasn't.
