Someone on here who hasn't got any idea said it would be sorted by Friday.

There is no real hurry, plenty of time to make a good appointment.

Rumour on facebook that Jackett had a second interview and turned us down. No idea if true, not reliable but that's rumours for you

He realised it was Leyton Orient and not Lorient. That’s what I heard. He was looking forward to a stint in Brittany.

He is way out of our league.
I can see it being Calderwood, although he might prefer Blackpool.

It’s like any negotiation, He will want things that maybe we won’t be keen on and vice versa. Once the common ground is achieved and things are agreed they need to be drawn up legally. Sometime it’s done quickly but the club may be agreeing to conditions that affect the future of other staff if the new manager is bringing in his own number two.

Sometimes it takes time. I love these Twitter rumours very rarely are they legit or believable.

Maybe they are waiting for Kent Teague to come to London and take part in the final interviews.

Its already been sorted and the decision was made this afternoon , but they forgot to take the top off the chimney and the grey smoke got caught in the flume !

Nope , Os fan for 45 years.
But I live in the real world.
We are at best a L1 club who will lose a million + every year and will never have more than a 6000 subsidised gate.
Any talk of of the club being anything more than a money pit is nonsense.
That’s where I differ from a lot on this board.
I still think we will eventually get back to L1, but that will be the limit.
We will never be an established Championship club again. The game has moved on.
