Re: New manager prediction.
Why not.
He signs the players.
We will see how good he is at motivating them.

Re: New manager prediction.
Mark Cooper. Based on nothing more than him having done okay at League One and Two level and being out of work after leaving FGR recently. He also played with Ling for a season here in 1997-1998.

Got lucky at Swindon.moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 8:01 pm Richie Wellens is my choice.Got Swindon up last season playing attractive football.Went to Salford and left by mutual consent.
Took Oldham down and couldn’t hack it at the wealthiest club in L2.
His points average at Swindon was 1,46 per game.
No thanks.

Re: New manager prediction.
Mark Cooper.
He would be a decent shout.
Vastly experienced with a win rate of nearly 40%.
753 games as a manager.
Wouldn’t take a lot of notice of his bust up with the ball boy.

Re: New manager prediction.
We might not take much notice but Martin Ling could . Nah, I don't think it will be Cooper somehow.Still wrong wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 8:55 pm Mark Cooper.

Re: New manager prediction.
Surprised by the need to have L1/L2 experience. This years promoted managers have all NEVER managed at league 1 level. All three are young (U45?) and have played athletic positive football. A solid style old school manager is definitely not the way.
