I have deleted all my Social media connections with LOFC
Except here , i have blocked Emails from the club
I shall ring them next week to remove me from there
Database & those family members who have bought stuff for me over
the last 50 years of supporting this Wonderful little club .

This i cant forgive though .
It is asking me to choose between my Loyalty to my club
Or to choose loyalty to my Family & my Heritage .

There is only going to be 1 winner .

Its been Nice supporting you O's , but i think im done .

I admire your principled stand. The association of the club with the military and Empire was bad enough. Now this.

I dont have a problem with players who played for the club 100+ years ago
What they did was admirable .

I don’t see that Orient are necessarily supporting this. Looking at the Tommy Club website, it seems to be a charity which people join up to support veterans. If they want. Wearing a poppy would be more of a statement. Given past sponsors like 666Bet and energybet, I don’t see this as problematic as they were. Nor a choice. And certainly not something I would stop supporting a football club over.

Thats not what happened last year .
Kane pays for the space on the shirt
The club gave a dividend of the shirt sales (£5)
to the selected charities .

My Dad was called up in 1949, are you saying he was a different beast?

It was the start of the development of soldiers .

I hope he wasnt tested unkowingly for LSD .
I know in 1964 there were secret tests , but it does ask the question had they tried it on
Some poor soldier just called upto do his duty before 64.
