Re: Labour Watch
He’s actually a genius isn’t he?
Call him stupid all you want but the guy’s been elected Mayor of London twice - most diverse place in the UK and votes predominantly Labour - got a thumping election win with a simple Get Brexit Done slogan, admittedly against a terrible LOTO but has seemingly fought off his replacement with relative ease.
All despite being pretty incompetent at his job and an awkward communicator
And the more the left call out his bumbling idiot persona, the more it plays into his hands

So if the left are to blame for his success by calling him out, what should they do? Let him go about his business unchallenged?

Re: Labour Watch
The day after Starmer was elected Leader, i left all associations with the Labour Party.
Starmer is a disaster as a leader. He was ultra pro remain, and to elect such a man just after Brexit happened was plain silly . He has the personality of a plank of wood, he is as inspirational as a slab of butter, and he's completely ruled by the Israel lobby, hence the first thing he actually did, was write a grovelling letter to the Board of Deputies, literally minutes after the leadership result
He should stand down, but he wont. He'll soldier on until he loses the next election, then resign the following day, and there will be another 5 years of Tory sleaze, & corruption .
If he loses Hartlepool this week, he must go....even Corbyn won Hartlepool twice during his tenure

Have to admire your ability to shoe-horn Israel into the above.
The reasons for Labours inability to cut-through are numerous. Starmer's merely part of that.

Don’t challenge him = free to do what he likes and win more votes
Call him out = supporters paint the left as crybabies, remoaners, bad losers etc, more votes for him as no-one likes whingers
There’s literally no way Labour can win

Re: Labour Watch
The only way they can win is if Johnson's own incompetence and corruption become unpalatable to his party. His popularity and the purge at the end of the last parliament means we're probably ages off from that.Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 12:42 pmDidn’t say the left are to blame but you’ve highlighted his geniusRonnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 9:14 amOf course he’s not a genius. It's incredibly grim for any democracy where blatant corruption and incompetence have no electoral consequences whatsoever, regardless of your politics.
