It's the right move for the club to put these clauses in. Otherwise the contracts run down and they move on for nothing or a tribunal fee.

I’m sure agents make sure contracts have get out clauses. I doubt clubs rarely dictate these days. Agents get paid to do a job and I’m sure they do it well.
