If extrapolated out to a season it would give us about 72 points, which is borderline play offs.

Worth bearing in mind he achieved that from a squad (minus Thompson) which had achieved 15 points from the previous 14 games, so Jobi has shown a 47% improvement on Embleton’s final equivalent number of fixtures.

I was not in favour of Jobi’s appointment, I felt we needed an experienced manager with some success on his CV and still hold to that view back then, but said I’d back him and give him a chance.

Based on the above stats he’s improved things, the football and results were dire at the end of Embleton’s reign, Jobi had to work with what he inherited, he’s had no transfer window. The football hasn’t been great for sure, but from a fair minded perspective he’s probably done enough to warrant the summer window to see what he can really deliver.

I agree what other choice will they have they are not picking from a big pool of exsisting staff. Give him a chance and if we don not go down what have we lost.

At the time they took over, the P&L reserve was -£6.7m. The most recent accounts to 30/6/20 show -£14.1m. That’s £7.4m of losses in 3 years.

Yes, there are a couple of phrases which are over used. But the content thereafter is pretty genuine - look at the interview from the last game, he’s been as honest as he can without slating individuals in public.
