Biggest Defeat

Post by Lucky7 »

I can’t actually remember what the biggest defeat I’ve watched is

I remember getting tonked 5 something by Yeovil at home a few years ago

That Bromley result was just freaky madness! I think every thing they aimed at goal went in!! Proper reality check. We played worse at Torquay!! The 3-0 Scoreline down there didn’t do the gulls any justice...How it was only 3-0 I don’t know.

Worst I can recall in person, Doncaster smashed 5 or 6 at our place in I think 2004. Fortune West got a few and we were truly woeful.

Swansea also gave us a 5 nil tonking at Brisbane Road, but they had a brilliant team that season.

6-0 down away at Fulham at half-time many years ago was a bit of a downer.

Yeah but we won the second half 1-0. I think we also got to see the World Cup being hawked around, or am I thinking of another Fulham game.

And if memory serves it was 6-0 after 30 minutes. Nightmare

I see we're all still mentally blocking out the 6-1 thrashing at Bromley.

Thanks Max

You’ve just jolted my memory

This is the biggest loss I’ve seen

If I remember rightly we had put 4 past Portsmouth the week before in the fa cup

Carlisle hadn’t had a game for a few weeks cos of the big freeze

We where 5 down I think at half time

Ooosh 👎

Dele Alli played and scored in that 6-1 away at Mk if I remember correctly. Madness to think 3 years later he was playing for England in a world cup semi final 😳

No worries. Was thinking: 'what am I going to be accused of not clamping down on now?'

A thread talking about our biggest defeats is a prime target for clamping down on I would have thought.

Yeah, I was at that game. Donny had just come up from the Conference and was their first game back. Revenge for the 8 - 0 thrashing we gave them a few years earlier.

6-1 Bromley

Worst defeat 4-5 hull. 4-1 up with 20 minutes to go.
