I reckon all the agents are ***** . I agree about Steve Thompson. He comes across as a good bloke and with him Dagenham are in good hands .

To summarise he was a League One player who was surplus to requirements, went on loan to the Conference, did well and earned himself a contract with a League Two club. An everyday story of footy folk. Not sure why the Daggers bloke has to explain that to his supporters at such great length, but good on him for doing so.

Well according to their managing director his buy out clause covered two months of his contract. So from there you can guess what he's on per month - league 1 wages apparently - so probably in the region of 1000 to 2000 per week.

Their chairman said the clause was basically a couple of months money to cover end of season to 30 June. A 2 month period. You then said it was no more than £5k which means you think he’s on £30k p.a. - £5,000 / 2 x 12.

Their chairman said they paid him the same money as his L1 contract with Gills. There’s no way he was on just £30k p a.
