Re: Biggest Defeat
That Bromley result was just freaky madness! I think every thing they aimed at goal went in!! Proper reality check. We played worse at Torquay!! The 3-0 Scoreline down there didn’t do the gulls any justice...How it was only 3-0 I don’t know.

Re: Biggest Defeat
Worst I can recall in person, Doncaster smashed 5 or 6 at our place in I think 2004. Fortune West got a few and we were truly woeful.
Swansea also gave us a 5 nil tonking at Brisbane Road, but they had a brilliant team that season.

Re: Biggest Defeat
Yeah but we won the second half 1-0. I think we also got to see the World Cup being hawked around, or am I thinking of another Fulham game.
And if memory serves it was 6-0 after 30 minutes. Nightmare

Re: Biggest Defeat
Thanks Max
You’ve just jolted my memory
This is the biggest loss I’ve seen
If I remember rightly we had put 4 past Portsmouth the week before in the fa cup
Carlisle hadn’t had a game for a few weeks cos of the big freeze
We where 5 down I think at half time

That was an absolute horror show. We were so far behind them it was embarrassing..Philip J. Fry wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 1:02 pm 6-1 at MK Dons a few years ago. Simpson scored a cracker though

7-2 I think at home to Wimbledon when they were going up through the divisions...and we, were not.

Re: Biggest Defeat
No worries. Was thinking: 'what am I going to be accused of not clamping down on now?'

Re: Biggest Defeat
A thread talking about our biggest defeats is a prime target for clamping down on I would have thought.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 8:12 pm

Re: Biggest Defeat
Yeah, I was at that game. Donny had just come up from the Conference and was their first game back. Revenge for the 8 - 0 thrashing we gave them a few years earlier.Buddy Manucci wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 12:54 pm Worst I can recall in person, Doncaster smashed 5 or 6 at our place in I think 2004.
