Yes , point taken.
The whole of Oliver road would not have to have its name changed .

Specifically only the part of the road between windsor road & buckingham road need to be changed.

All oliver road numbers for residents remain the same .

The council would just have to notify the centre across the road & any tenants in The Stadium complex
No one else .

The Breyer Group Stadium
Justin Edingburgh Way E .10.
has a nice ring to it.

Oh & for those that think this cannot be done
Google Snappy Snaps E17.

It will show there listed adress as
8 Palace Parade High Street E17 .

Its called that as the old Palce Theatre was there way back when & so
Part of the High Street has 2 names .

Who'd of thunk it possible.

You do know the Score Centre is going to be bulldozed at some point for the new housing development right?
Perfect opportunity for a street to be named after JE

Plus the palace theatre was demolished and a new set of shops with accommodation on top was built easier to rename something that way

Spare a thought for Oliver, might have been named after that fine Mr Cromwell fellow who was born in my neck of the woods

Only 3,400 season tickets sold with a week to go.

Also, Nigel mentions incoming offers and doing what’s best for the club....sounds as if we’re being buttered up for something here.

You can't name a street after someone who's only been in the area for a year. People are going over the top with this.

Why? We have a housing crisis and people need places to live. Part of the redevelopment included improving the facilities at Ive Farm so that there is no net loss of sporting facilities.

What's best for the club and the fans is not to sell off our best players, it shows a total lack of ambition and is a kick in the teeth for all those who bought the early bird season tickets !!!

Nigel said there will be more players coming in, and some going out.
I take that to mean players like Bonne, Koroma, Happe etc, leaving
Hope not, but I'm certain some will leave

If Charlton want Bonne and have made a reasonable offer - not £200k! - then I'm pretty sure Macca would fancy his chances there and we'd send him on his way with our blessing.

3400 might actually be about right once you strip out £9 phantom kids. Allows more actual ticket sales if we have big games...

Re Macaulay and Josh, would be sad to see either or both go, however the measure of a successful club is how good is our scouting and recruitment process. My worry is that it might be a bit shaky right now given the impact of the recent JE tragedy.

Perhaps when Bonne signed the extra years extension on his contract, it was agreed by both parties that any bid over £200,000 transfer could trigger a release clause. If true, a top forward for us being sold for what is nowadays, a very low transfer fee. I mean what can you get in a player nowadays for just £200,000 ?

Sure it's a bit on the low side but how much do people reckon he's worth?

If we sell, we sell. Travis made clear his ambitions are to see us back in L1 as soon as possible and to look towards the Championship - if we take a decent offer for one of our youth products along the way, that's part of making us a sustainable club once again. If any of the kids go, and it's not for dirt cheap, they should go with our blessing and we should chill out a bit.

I think Bonne is much at the same stage Andre Gray was when Luton sold him to Brentford. Similar age, unfinished product, unproven in the League with but in National League he scored 1 in 2 over 2 seasons for the biggest team at that level.

They got £600k plus a 25% sell-on, so I would be expecting similar. I think that is reasonable considering we haven't even factored inflation in (Gray deal was 2014).

£200,00 is a long way short of a decent offer, it's an insult !!!!
