Re: Josh Koroma
You’re probably not aware but £250k p.a. is a huge amount of money. I agree with PW.

Re: Josh Koroma
If you are a championship player it’s not a lot of money. If you are a premier league player it’s peanuts. Is it possible for him to play in the championship? In my opinion yes, is £5k attainable if that were to happen? Yes. Would someone pay £500k and then pay him £2k a week? Nope.
So yes £250k p.a. Is a lot of money, but in football terms, it’s not really.

Agreed, but how much is he on here? Can't be more than a grand. Who wouldn't take an offer of their wages being multiplied by 5?Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 8:57 pm Not a chance that any club is going to pay him more than 5k per week.

Re: Josh Koroma
With Bonne potentially going as well it's in Koroma's best interest to take the opportunity to go higher. With a different strike partner and all that's happened he could easily drop off the radar this season if he stays.

No more than 1-2k pw I would think. Doesnt matter what wages he'd like, any club wanting him has to agree a deal with the club first.Adz wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 3:29 amAgreed, but how much is he on here? Can't be more than a grand. Re: Josh Koroma
He's had one season playing first team football and scored 11 goals at conference level in 40 appearances. Talented lad but I think its unlikely a higher club will offer him a big bucks contract just yet. Better money than here yes, but not astronomical amounts.Thor wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 10:22 pm If you are a championship player it’s not a lot of money. The club need to release a statement quickly that neither Koroma or Bonne are going anywhere if they want to increase season ticket sales, there seems to be a deafening silence on how many have now been sold.

That's only an increase of 150 since the 23rd May despite a hard sell, it could well be due to the lack of quality signings announced with only Josh Wright coming in.
A statement from the club needs to be made immediately to reassure fans that have already bought season tickets and those considering buying that our star players will not be sold and that there will be quality signings brought in very soon.
Without a statement to this effect I do not believe the club will sell more than a handful of additional season tickets.

Now according to new news reports coming in, Bonne to be sold to Charlton for a mere £200,000. This is an awful last few weeks.

With the early bird offer, most people who were going to renew already have. There will be some holding on until the end of June for financial reasons but not many.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:32 amLucky7 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:18 ammPoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:15 am The club need to release a statement quickly that neither Koroma or Bonne are going anywhere if they want to increase season ticket sales, there seems to be a deafening silence on how many have now been sold.

The difference between this season and last is presumably going to be a drop off in the number of kids season tickets sold. So although we might end up 500 or so down overall, if the majority of those are £10 kids tickets, the clubs income will have risen due to the price rises. And the club have 500 extra tickets available to sell for the 2 or 3 games a season we may sell out.
Suggesting a statement is needed to reassure panicky season ticket holders is a joke, right?

Wrong , it's not just to reassure those that haven't renewed their season tickets. it's also to reassure those that bought the early bird tickets that they haven't been mugged off and the club has real ambition.

I don’t need reassurance I’m a season ticket holder and have been for years we never know what a new season might bringPoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:03 amCreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:43 amWith the early bird offer, most people who were going to renew already have. I have watched the O's for 62 years and had a season ticket for more years than I can remember.Season ticket sales speak for themselves, as I have stated on another thread I have not renewed for a number of reasons, see the Bonne to Charlton thread.Lucky7 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:15 amI don’t need reassurance I’m a season ticket holder and have been for years we never know what a new season might bringPoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:03 amCreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:43 am
