Ah okay didn't realise his contract expires next summer. Changes it completely and wouldn't blame the club if they decided to cash in. I think we're heading for mid table with or without Koroma.
Would be a shame to see him go though, best O's player since Odubajo.
He’s nowhere near 24 though so we still get a fee.

Ic Huddersfield.double or triple his wages , there wont be alot we can do to keep him.
Jobi needs to sit him down & say play for love or sit on the bench for £notes
It’s potentially more money now, but it doesn’t mean more much eh longer term. How much is Tristan earning at the moment?
We need to offer him more money, extend his contract for another year, then hope he has another successful season with us and send him on his way at the end of the 19/20 season.

So we sell one of our best players before we even kick a ball back in League Two ? . If we really must, we could always sell him in the January tranfer window.
If we really must then we wouldn't wait until a prime asset has fewer than 6 months left on his contract. No way does a tribunal award us anywhere near £500k so the longer we wait the lesser fee we get.
If we're gonna sell best do it now and get a replacement in to build the team around rather than floundering in January losing key members of the squad.

We should hold on to our best players if we are serious about further promotions, extend his contract and then if he is worth 500,00 now he will be worth much more than the cost of a contract extension to the club in the future. Its not rocket science!

Tristan 44 gmes 6 goals since 2016 4/5 clubs
Josh 93 games 18 goals since 2016 1 club.
What is there to get ?
Josh has already developed .
So you do know who Tristan is.
I’m still not sure what your point is? That Josh is now ready to move on to a Championship club? If so, I’d disagree. He wouldn’t get near their first team just yet.

If Huddersfield were to offer him 10-15k a week , is it possible for us to keep him ?
Id love him to stay but 400k+ a season would turn any young league 2 kids head.
If he was being offered £15k a week (£750k per year) then hell yeah, of course he should take it. But I doubt it’ll be anywhere near that (just yet).
Point is , any move upwards for a player with nearly 2 full seasons in Non league & goals in his locker , is a much higher hope & prospect than an untried kid with a handful of games for different teams .
Josh is ready to start anywhere.& in any league he possibly might go to.
He may not be ready to start every game but as a footballer he is ripe for picking on a hunch from bigger clubs .
If CBW was ready at the age we sold him, Josh is just as ready. Like i said i hope he stays , but if he goes get as much as we can & wish the boy well.
No player is bigger than the club. Orient have to survive financially. There are plenty of Josh Koroma's out there. Our scouts job is to find them. There is no point if we are financially unstable. We've been through that

That's all very well in theory, please remind me how many Josh Koroma's have our scouts found that we have actually ever signed ?

Cash in now, no guarantee he will perform in L2 for us. Let someone else take the risk and invest the money in players that are proven at our level.
Spot on.
On what I’ve seen of him he is nowhere near a 500k player.
Should cash in now as I have my doubts he will perform at the higher level.
Tricky one if an offer comes in. Personally I thought he hit a bit of a plateau in the second half of the season, albeit he was injured for part. No guarantee he would accept another year either. On balance I would take the money, it is a healthy sum for League 2 investment and like all footballers he is a bad tackle away from a career limiting injury. Would be sorry to see him go but that level of bid would be acceptable Imho.
