Re: Our Support in Essex
Grew up in sarf London and moved to Walthamstow. Regret giving myself even less of an excuse to miss games. The horrors of the 69 or 97 journey doesn't even mean it's particularly quick to get back from a disappointing home defeat.
Given that this is our core area, you never really see that much Os gear around here.

CF is on the money with Walthamstow's relentless expansion westwards. Maybe a rebrand of the club into AwesomestOs FC will get the more monied locals interested.

Re: Our Support in Essex
I helped to give leaflets out at the Leyton Carnival (at the cricket ground) a few years ago promoting the club. Lots of O's fans came up to the stand saying they went to matches. Was pleasantly surprised at the no of E10 based supportersMistadobalina wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 4:09 pm Grew up in sarf London and moved to Walthamstow. Re: Our Support in Essex
I was brought up in Enfield , before moving to Cheshunt in 1982, and now in Hoddesdon, so although I’m in Herts, Essex is just down the road. There are a few fellow O’s in Cheshunt that I saw on the train sometimes and maybe one or two in Broxbourne.
