If youse had all stayed in Leyton and surrounding area and brought up your kids there and their kids too I reckon O's could be recording crowds of 9.4k on a regular basis.

Re: Our Support in Essex
Was Kent, now Pembrokeshire.
Thought I’d be the only one down here, but found out (thanks to our favourite cabbie) that the chairman of Haverfordwest County AFC of the Cymru Prem is an Os fan. He must have a few bob if he’s funding them. What are the chances of that, eh? I’ll have to introduce myself when I can get to one of their games...

Southchurch (Southend), and know of at least 2/3 in Leigh too.
Quite often see people in town or out running wearing O's apparel. Probably to the level of 1 in 2 to Southend fans, believe it or not..

He’s a decent bloke. Was on the LO Down podcast with him when it was on the radio. He’s in the wine industry as well so even better reason to introduce yourself!slacker wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 9:20 am Was Kent, now Pembrokeshire.

I once wore an Orient shirt to 7-a-side round here to be told in no uncertain terms "never wear that here again"Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 9:26 am Southchurch (Southend), and know of at least 2/3 in Leigh too.

Interesting. Wear my O's shirt to the gym etc all the time, and no-one has ever said a word.gshaw wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 10:57 amI once wore an Orient shirt to 7-a-side round here to be told in no uncertain terms "never wear that here again"Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 9:26 am Southchurch (Southend), and know of at least 2/3 in Leigh too.

Like Apple Wumble I am also a Romford boy born and bred. Not moved out quite so far though as I live just outside Writtle near Chelmsford.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 7:39 pm Born and bred Romford. Got out of the ghetto and now in a mansion in Witham.

I misread shirt but still thought it an accurate statement. Particularly around Sugar Hut.

Re: Our Support in Essex
Nope, our team changed to Nike kits so needed to get a new one anyway. Would've worn the current pink one for laughs but despite asking the club numerous times to try and buy one they won't respond. Took the order elsewhere now and gone the other end of the scale and bought a black one insteadaylesburyos wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 11:54 amDid you?gshaw wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 10:57 amI once wore an Orient shirt to 7-a-side round here to be told in no uncertain terms "never wear that here again"Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 9:26 am Southchurch (Southend), and know of at least 2/3 in Leigh too.

Not Essex I realise, but we can see the Tower at Walton and the ferries leaving Harwich when we do a beach walk/cycle; there are three Os season ticket holders in this part of deepest, darkest Suffolk. Mrs NES and I and A N Other.

Re: Our Support in Essex
When I was growing up in Woodford (70's/80's) there seemed to be relatively few Orient fans. In those days it was all Spurs,Arsenal or Shammers. I think there's loads more O's fans round there than there used to be. Now in Suffolk and I bump into the odd O's fan here and there
