Re: Alphabet Game
Ok, can't think of a surname and don't want to Google so will revert to first name and go with Imran Tahir.
Who was the Essex batsman?

Re: Alphabet Game
For J - not sure if its "van de" or just "van" and if "Martin" is the English or Afrikaaners spelling, probably the latter with a last name like that, but for sure it's "Jaarsveld".
Marten van (de) Jaarsveld

Re: Alphabet Game
I'm guessing there are no Us?
Definitely have V, W and Z though, unless there's a player whose first name was Xavier that can count

Re: Alphabet Game
I refuse to be beaten on cricket knowledge, so I cheated and asked my mate in Sarf Africar about the "Us" and he has just confirmed no one with a surname beginning with U has played international cricket for SA, not even at U-19 level.
For V, I am eschewing the "vans" and "van de/ders" and going with AB de Villiers.

Re: Alphabet Game
Good choice - I'd have gone for his namesake (but I don't think a relative) Fanie de Villiers.
For W I'm going to go for a player in his swansong when Fanie was in the team - Kepler Wessels.

Re: Alphabet Game
Zubayr Hamza though there are some with Z starting the surname.
Next - acronymns - you have to state the acronym and what it stands for e.g. - one currently in the news "WHO - World Health Organisation -
I'll start with "AA" - Automobile Association
