I thought I was being harsh predicting only 2 before the game but was even worse than I thought it would be.

Dulcet Dave makes me cringe with that DJ stuff too.
The way he’s playing I’d have to side with Morrissey and say ‘Hang the DJ’

Looking forward to the post match interview which will be coming up after Ling has signed off the questions and briefed McAnuff on what his responses should be.

Craig Clay interviewed by Ollie & Andrew after the game on the TV Stream.

Craig looked fed-up.
Yeah, collectively we are a bit short of confidence right now
Yeah, It's up to individual players to look at themselves and step up
Yeah, Two points from 2 home games is not good enough
Yeah, Players have to look at themselves and see the effort they are putting in and do more

Not the most positive of interviews and it makes me wonder what tensions are developing between some players as I've seen some having a go at each other in the last 4 games.

It's just all too cosy at the club, If Jobi gets the job or not I would get rid of the entire coaching staff and let him or a new manager come in and bring their own staff. it's all too pally from the national conference days, Brill, Harrold, Lawless etc.

I think this club need a hard nosed manager to come in and tell a few truths. T&T need to look again at the clubs structure because it's a big summer and big decisions really need to be made..

They need to get that appointment rolling now and get them in asap. Need some stability and proper leadership otherwise the summer recruitment is going to be an even bigger mess than what we have now.

Did not stay around to see Clays interview. He’s lucky in my view that the only reason he is in the team is that there is no one to take his place. There is definitely something going on behind the scenes that fans do not know about. A number of players in the squad know they are not getting contract extensions and just seeing out the season. Based on the last 4 games there are very few players in the first team squad who deserve new contracts and of those who will be offered deals some will want to move on. Nigel saying we want to try for the playoffs was a way to keep interest going. 1 shot on target in the last 2games and having over 60% of play says it all. The players look tired and clueless. Unfortunately the situation is not going to be solved in a short time. I feel sorry for Jobi as the situation is worse than when Justin came in. It will take a lot of time with so many payers to be replaced.

If the results and performances are so uninspiring why would Jobi be afforded the chance to carry on next season?

Martin Ling must be sleeping with their wives. Literally the only plausible thing it could be.

Perhaps Fletcher got it right when he stated that most of the players were not good enough.

That’s the problem. Word gets around. Is there an experienced manager who would come in knowing that pointing out some home truths will get you the sack?

Fletcher was spot on with his assessment.

I'd like him to have a transfer window and at least half a season (from the start) to implement his ideas. If it still looks the same in November/December then we might have to get someone experienced in.

the rest of this season though... pure endurance. Its going to be rough.
You are aware that Jobi was a coach in this set up for 2 years, right? This isn’t just “Ross’ mess”

Ross was not known for capitalising on the expertise of his staff. He tried to do everything. I imagine Senda, McAnuff, Harrold and Brill, all seasoned campaigners, tried to tell him but he just wouldn't listen. We know Danny Webb didn't take to being spoken to like a pleb and had to leave as a result. Ross was also, allegedly, less than supportive with Fletcher.

In my opinion the problem is that no self respecting proven, experienced Manager at this level or above will consider joining us whilst our DOF has his fingers in the pie and thereby lies the crux of the matter.

Same old...same old.....Jobi's hands are tied, as were Ross's before him, and we all know who's calling the shots, and it will never change until the owners finally realise , that the DOF isnt the god they all think he is.
That wont be happening anytime soon either.
Really not sure how much more of this fuckfest i can take now

DOF got very lucky that Justin was happy to work with the assistant Managers in place, I can’t see anyone working with all the assistant managers currently at the club.
