Re: Josh Wright
Yeah tend to agree..........Josh Wright doesn`t exactly excite me, the Bradford fans are happy that he`s going...........We need a good passer like Lloyd James was as i recall..........I would have hoped that as we are now L2 we may get a Prem Club loan us one or two of their bright prospects to give them some `experience`.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 4:36 pmAm sick to death with negative players that play sideways and back, what we need is a quality attacking midfielder.Blackadder wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 3:46 pm Very much the same kind of player as Matthew Spring, mainly sideways passes. What we do need, urgently, is midfield players
of the quality of Romain Vancelot and Craig Easton. Those guys could drive a team forward and score a decent amount of goals.
Exciting attacking midfielders will get the season ticket numbers flying.Boring, negative side ways and back passing players will keep people away

Re: Josh Wright
Yup we should definitely try establish some links with the Prem clubs but need to be a bit more savvy about who we take on. Lumeka was far too lightweight and didn't seem to have the right mindset for lower-league football.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 5:24 pmYeah tend to agree..........Josh Wright doesn`t exactly excite me, the Bradford fans are happy that he`s going...........We need a good passer like Lloyd James was as i recall..........I would have hoped that as we are now L2 we may get a Prem Club loan us one or two of their bright prospects to give them some `experience`.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 4:36 pmAm sick to death with negative players that play sideways and back, what we need is a quality attacking midfielder.Blackadder wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 3:46 pm Very much the same kind of player as Matthew Spring, mainly sideways passes. At the time Kane and Carroll seemed to have a much more mature attitude, probably why they made it in the end but it's all about spotting that early I guess.

Re: Josh Wright
Yeah, we do need that sort of player but we also need someone who can hold in front of the back three and give them the cover they missed all season, plus someone who is bit of a baller and can link play given the way we try and play football. Presumably he ticks off that last requirement?Blackadder wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 3:46 pm Very much the same kind of player as Matthew Spring, mainly sideways passes. Good to have him on board tbh. Gonna be tough for him coming into a squad united in grief but i know he knew Justin really well as well.

Re: Josh Wright

I’m not opening a bottle of champagne but I wish him every possible success with us
I hope the new manager gets out of him what JE thought he was going to produce

Absolutely, that signing is going to be critical.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 4:39 pm I think we will still need a Vincelot type midfielder
Let's get behind the new signings and give them the support they need to get through what's going to be a tough start to the season. Welcome (back Josh.

Nice Interview From Josh
Leyton Orient (@leytonorientfc) Tweeted:
"I came here before with visions of staying for years, and possibly my career. It didn't happen because of other circumstances and that hurt me, there was always unfinished business for me here"
Josh Wright speaks to the Club following his return to the E10.

Re: Josh Wright
Unlike many people on here I though Josh was all right when he was here last time. I wish him all the best.
