I hadn't really thought about us having appointed a black manager, more focussed on what he can bring to the job. He has been part of our Orient lives for a while now, that's good enough for me. He does have a good profile which won't do us any harm and I suppose, in the current climate, him being black adds to that profile. I am proud that I have never heard racist stuff at Orient (although there was possibly antisemitism around Scott Kashket's departure under previous owners)
