Sussed it, this is a cunning plan so our seamers can bowl at India under lights we will obviously bowl them out for 60 in seamer friendly dewy conditions take a 60 run lead into the second innings. Our second innings tomorrow in daylight all out 100, get them in under lights again tomorrow night bowl then out for not a lot presto we are 2-1 up...........either that or India are going to make 500 in their first innings.

The pitch has deteriorated from the start of play and India are exploiting England’s batting, it would be interesting to see how India’s batters would do against their spinners don’t think they would be 106-9.

I know all home teams prepare pitches to suit their bowlers but I still think this is doing too much on day one. It’s not turning as much as the last pitch on the first day but we are not even two sessions in. That said England’s batting is poor.
