This 433 formation (451) is a disaster

If anyone who watched us this season, with this negative 'do not lose at any cost' formation thinks it the way forward, i despair. No shots on goal tonight. One goal in six games. DJ isolated and barely gets a touch. A centre forward on the wing with a rookie on the other (who played ok tonight.) Meanwhile our left winger who can run at defences and scare the life out of them is stuck at left back.

What is the obsession with this formation ? It doesn't work ! Please can we have TWO forwards up front ? is that too much to ask ? We are more or less safe anyway so whats the harm in being more ambitious ? Give it a go. At least, it will entertain the fans rather than this .

This squad easily has the capabilities to be top 7 and the board have played their part . However the formation is so NEGATIVE. Only one man responsible for this debacle i'm afraid...

We have no creativity in the team.
God Knows how DJ has scored so many goals with such little service.
Brophy must be pushed forward........we have Widdowson to play LB, or even Ogie of Joe if out of favour.

How about we try it with players in their proper positions? Play as an attacking 4-3-3 not a negative defensive system.

RW - Kemp, seems to be listed as a right midfielder and needs a brave decision to drop Wilkinson for a couple of games

I don’t think it’s a brave decions to drop Wilco as it’s the right decision as his form has dropped off significantly over the last five or so games. Rest him up, fire him up and let him go again, but for now time to sit on the bench.

I don’t think it’s a brave decions to drop Wilco as it’s the right decision as his form has dropped off significantly over the last five or so games. Rest him up, fire him up and let him go again, but for now time to sit on the bench.

Agree but it seems certain players have been untouchable at times. Needs to be changed up.
