Just listened. Thank you for putting this together. Very respectful and honest.
I'm feeling very raw and almost numb. Feels inconceivable this has happened, so very sad.
My condolences to his family

Sums up exactly how I am feeling. Seems surreal in that we have gone from such happiness to this in the blink of an eye.
Thanks Andy and the rest for doing this. As an expat living on the other side of the world, these things build a bridge so that we can feel part of the Orient family we 'left' to live elsewhere.

Can't listen to this yet but will do in due course.
Is the move to a Thursday a permanent move?

Yes the move to Thursday evenings is. The station has shuffled things around and we can't get Wednesday eve as WHU have an extremely popular show that evening ,so Thurs it is, it will be my intention to make it a bit more fan focused with plenty of time for people to send in views and questions for that weeks panel to deal with.

Re: Orient Hour Tonight A Tribute To Justin
Thanks for your kind comments regarding the show. We all found it extremely difficult to do, and obviously would have been nigh on impossible to do live as emotions got the better of all of us during the evening.
Dave's interview where Matt Porter broke down at the end reduced us all to bits.
I hope his family, if they do listen find it to be respectfully done ,in memory of a great manager for our football club.

The words Porter wrote - possibly on Saturday night? - were incredible.

Thank you for the show, can only think it must have been very difficult to do.
Matt Porters tribute to Justin at the end of the show was amazing, I don't think anyone could listen to that without getting choked up.

I can't imagine how difficult this was to put together, credit to all involved - it summed up the numbness we're all feeling right now. The end of Matt Porter's interview was heartbreaking to listen to.

No complaints about the move. Just means I'll listen to it on the Friday commute instead of Monday. Will probably need to give this one a week before I listen though - just a bit too early for me.Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 9:57 am Yes the move to Thursday evenings is. When you say "we" does this mean you are back working on it?

Re: Orient Hour Tonight A Tribute To Justin
Have you gone to the Anchor site to see if you can download it , All Orient Hour Shows are permanently kept on the Web page to listen to.
Yes Smedrick I am back arranging the show , but obviously I won't be on every week (stop that cheering !!) I will be one of a rota of 3 or 4 hosts, so roughly 1 show in every 3 or 4.

Re: Orient Hour Tonight A Tribute To Justin
I think we are indebted to Dave Victor ,who without hesitation when I phoned him on Saturday evening immediately said he'd be honoured to take part (as did everybody asked) & then showed his immense skills in being able to ask the number of questions he did with the fluidity he showed, and do it all totally unscripted. The whole show was unscripted and everybody just sat and spoke from the heart.
