The country is being ravaged, education is abandoned, businesses are destroyed .... Yet this government makes a law to ensure that their pathetic (as in useless for the job but sold her soul to Johnson) Attorney General gets maternity pay from us minions , a maternity pay that isn't available to MPs.

It's the Tories who closed the schools.

Do you think the schools should be open.

With the full backing of Labour , the Inions want them to remain shut. Like they are today calling for tougher quarantine measures for travellers returning to the UK

Personally , I do not know if they should be open or closed . I trust the Scientists advising the Government. Should they advise that they remain closed or open up, I would support their opinion. The vaccine continues to be rolled out and infection rates are falling. This is all good. Hopefully schools will reopen once all the teachers are vaccinated and are afforded protection. We have to get through this as best we can, it has changed everyone’s life. We are a strong Nation and we will bounce back and recover. I am confident of that.

They died. We do not know the individual cases. The Tories are the Government. They did not kill them. If that is what you are saying, phone 999.

So it's a no. You think the best thing to do is keep the schools closed until it is safe to open them. Sensible.

Why then make the moronic point about Labour and the Unions abandoning education when they didn't close the schools and you too believe they should be closed. You are a helmet. Stop clogging up the Board with unfunny drivel.

Education continues with teachers delivering online sessions, homework, and parental home schooling is now a thing. I don't know about England but up here vulnerable children are still attending school.

Please don’t put words in my mouth. I could say you are talking drivel and nonsense but I’m trying to be polite. Anyhow Labour as usual sit on the fence as it is the easiest thing to do and they have no policies post Corbyn. There is so much to sit on the fence about at the moment. The government is spending millions and Labour just says ‘not enough’. Starmer ‘the big hope’ will be a huge disappointment. Trailing in the polls in an environment with a huge open goal. As to ‘unfunny drivel’ I’m not intending to be ‘funny’. This is a serious matter. Grow up , if you cannot have a conversation without insults , what is the point?

Can’t stand the accent, humour or their drunkenness. Being woken up at 4am by drunks dressed as a Panda, Scarecrow and ostrich running across the top of my Canal Boat did not help. They generally do not warm Londoners in my experience.

The only thing Weirder and Weirder Tuffer is your inability to read the thread , then fill in with words that are not there.

To reiterate, I was in bed on a boat when the drunks in fancy dress ran across the top of my boat.

I avoid strangers in public places as a rule, especially when not in my own manor.
