The PCA is a good idea in theory but pretty useless with countries like Russia, China, Japan and Brazil pumping the atmosphere with loads of pollution.
Its like charging motorists to drive in to designated emission zones. Will do nothing to improve the atmosphere but a nice little revenue earner,

I think he was wrong to do that. I can see why he did it.....to protect American jobs, but there wont be a planet to have jobs on, if we all dont tackle climate change. China, Brazil and India must also be brought into line as they are, with america, major climate damagers

So true, but let's bash Trump anyway. I would have rather he fought from the inside and effect change rather than quit.Ornchurch wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 11:29 am The PCA is a good idea in theory but pretty useless with countries like Russia, China, Japan and Brazil pumping the atmosphere with loads of pollution.

In respect to the cars, what like London? It's a scam and we just accept it.

These agreements are OK providing every nation partipates. When some do and other don’t it’s becomes an unequal playing field. In the case of the USA it’s easy to see their concerns when other major nations ignore the agreement.
So how do we get other nations to toe the line? We can’t.

But we have to try. Failure is not an option if we want humanity to have a home in the future. By pulling out of the deal Trump has put his personal re-election campaign first and bugger humanity as a whole. If the US had strongly supported the agreement then pressure could have been put on other Countries much more effectively. Trump is truly a disaster of Global proportions.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 6:52 pm These agreements are OK providing every nation partipates. The only way forward is if green energy is a cheaper option than fossils.

I do not think that was anything at all to do with the USA ( Trump ) not wanting to observe Paris climate Agreement. The main reason is that TRUMP and his advisers choose to ignore all the scientific research done on this subject and is in complete denial that Climate change is even happening and even if it is, that it has nothing at all to do with the actions of human beings on the Planet. Trump is only interested in the USA and could not give a damn about what will happen worldwide if nothing is done to turn change around the effects of climate change.

Didn’t some professor claim to have sorted out cold fusion or just fusion? He was serious he’d cracked it yet no one backed or believed him and then the dreaded silence came upon his work.
That’s our future right there, fusion power.

As to Trump, well it brings to mind the old saying they used to say about ''Tricky Dicky'' e.g Richard Nixon ............''Would you buy a used car from this man ?''Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 10:55 pm Watched Trump Doc on Netflix the other day.
