Re: Exiles thread - Crawley (A)
Ling Watch.
As he seems to cover so many threads and plenty of opinions, let’s be honest here.
First half he has played well, he has put in a lot of effort, got forwards, looked to play forwards at every opportunity and has had a massive sense of urgency in all his play. Two or three times he’s busted a gut to win a ball or try to keep one in play. I thought the cross for our disallowed goal was superb, if Beckham does it, sky sports would be having kittens over it.
He has defo been spoken too as he’s raised his level up massively tonight.
So far so good.

The only mistake was the penalty, letting the bloke peel off the back of him and resulting in Clay trying to bail him out.

Proof if it was ever needed.

Bloke had broken free from his marker, if clay hadn’t challenged it was a goal

Dreading them bringing on 34 year old Mark Wright who's played one minute of professional football ever and is 100% there on merit

Just seen this on the Crawley board.
Mr Dreadful. Orient delay restart, diving all over the pitch going unpunished. Nr the end they kick the ball away when we are about to take a corner. Dirty and there to distrupt the game.

Sounds great. ‘Lot of effort’, ‘got forward’, ‘looked to play forward’ and ‘a massive sense of urgency’. How lucky we are to have a footballer who can run.Thor wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 7:55 pm Ling Watch.

Re: Exiles thread - Crawley (A)
This is suicide tactics by Ross. We have no one up front to do anything, no press, no chase nothing. 4-5 line up just allows the oppo to have total freedom with the ball, every clearance goes straight back to them and allows them to build once more. We are dropping deeper which to be fair is a natural reaction to our situation, but again it is just inviting on more and more pressure, I hope the defence can hold out.
Thompson is good been impressed with him
Freeman is quality the best player on that pitch by a country mile

I thought Kemp had a good game tonight, possibly his best one so far.
