Just had my Jab at the O’s Ground Pharmacy. Was offered ‘spare’ attending with my friend.

Yes he is disabled and I went to give moral support and drive him there otherwise he could not get there and home visits very slow at present. Could have done with a cup of tea in the queue. Shame the ground didn’t open one of kiosks make few quid.

Got bit of a headache after jab, apart from that was not bad, quite efficiently managed.

I'm glad you took the jab even if you were out of turn, let's not waste an opportunity or a jab

I was a bit put on the spot, there were no other takers there as all staff had received dose. Have a bit of a headache now , don’t know whether the jab or stress of deciding on the spot. Very efficiently run and all recipients pleasant and grateful. Staff good , caring anc understanding. I would imagine that many were volunteers. Was good having the jab at the ground. There was a big Eddie Stobart lorry parked up maybe delivering supplies. Tried to load photo I took of it but cannot attach it for some reason.

I suspect the stress headache is down to operating so many alias accounts and posting bucket loads of utter pish on here rather than the vaccine.

Only one account. Prove otherwise?

If you disagree with anything I say , then I am sorry not to your liking. Other than that Max , have a great afternoon.

Great news Oiram. Had mine 12 days ago (AZ)-felt crap for a day, like going down with a cold but of course I wasn't. Vaccination will be our path out of the present sh*t, if not by stopping any illness but making sure it is isn't serious. Do hope everyone has one when offered

Thanks Harlow. It was an unexpected opportunity and I felt obliged to take it . I think it will be the acceptable way forward in time and those who have not had one or conspiracy theorists will be finding it difficult to get back to some normality in future. The lockdown is getting more difficult by the week not seeing people you usually do. Be great when we can go watch a match and have a pint after!

Hi Oiram,
I also had my jab yesterday at 9am at Lister House in Harlow. it was the Oxford AZ one, all very well organised and hardly felt anything when the young lady injected me ( I hate needles ! ) Got home had some toast with a cup of tea and rested, had a light meal in the afternoon then slept for around 3 hours. Very few side effects, rather similar symptoms to when I get my yearly flu injection, but all ok today. They gave me a lot of paperwork to read and the next appointment date for the second injection has been arranged for 12 weeks time.

Good to hear some fans are getting jabbed. Out of interest, do they tell you which flavour you're getting or give you anything to 'prove' you've had it?

Great news Sid , thanks. I feel bit better now after couple cups tea and a sandwich. Maybe all in the mind and apprehension. Wish you well and thanks for the reassurance.

Hi Sid
Mine was also done at Lister house, all very efficient. Young lady pointed out the empty phials they had used. Said they were getting an extra dose (11 rather than 10) so more to go round.

Isn't it great to be able to talk about something so positive

I go onto YouTube and read the comments from Trump supporting people who talk the most incredible rubbish imaginable about these vaccines and many believe there is no virus at all ! The internet has a lot to answer for as these type of people really want to believe in any crazy stuff that they read on social media ! Ohh and they firmly believe that Trump will be back in power again by march via a military coup !

I was told what jab it was and giving a slip showing the production batch details (for traceability I guess if there is a problem, like you get on food). You don't get a certificate or anything like that. Was also told to come back in 12 weeks
