Jordan Thomas

Post by Bergen »

Played for Norwich U-23 against Aston Villa the other day.

Does that mean that he has returned, or can he play for their reserves while being on loan?

We just don’t look after loan players very well in my opinion. I would question sending a player to us under Ross and Martin.

It's true that is often the case but Tunji Akinola is now a regular starter.

What we need is an experienced loan manager.

We can't do that - because we'd then need 4 experienced loan coaches....

Thomas was far superior to Ling...it was noticeable, even in the small amount of times he played
Shame it didnt work out well

Thomas was far superior to Son of DOF , only our club could let a good young player go back to his parent club and continue to play a total liability who will probably cost us promotion.

I thought Thomas looked good against Colchester, even though we lost he was the only positive thing on the day.
He tried to get the ball forward at ever opportunity and not go sideways and backwards as someone else we know.
Amazing that was day Ling came on as sub and went straight back in the team the following game.
Maybe just a coincidence or as Ross likes to put it 'conspiracy theory '.

I’ve looked back at my comments on the ratings threads and - yes, he may have been better than Ling - but some people appear to be trying to rewrite his history with us.

Gotta love this club. Get a talented young player in who can play in both full back positions - known problems in the team. He plays a handful of games and starts even less. They let a LB go on loan at the start of the season and a RB go on loan halfway through ‘because he needs minutes’. Not even just the worst RB at the club but the worst player at the club gets to start week in week out regardless of how terrible he is. Apart from when the kid we got in to play at CB played very well at RB for a few weeks, before having a poor game at the right side of a 3 man defence and then gets bombed out for weeks.

What the f*** is going on? Seriously.

No one is rewriting history. The kid looked good going forward and defending but never got a chance.

We only have one RB realistically now. Ling. Judd gone, Akinola CB, Turley constantly rested and Thomas ignored.

A position where we once had options we now have one realistic option, Ling. New contract incoming? That situation has been managed to perfection. Still, new defender expected, maybe a RB?
