It is weird how some people will go on about how no one is dying when cases are soaring, then a couple of weeks later go on about the cases coming down when deaths are through the roof.
Another straw man

Not sure what your point is. What you're describing is just the pattern of how this virus works, but you knew that.

I'm just glad the cases are on the way down in my area, as it is or was one of the worst affected in the country.

Don’t be so daft. The majority do not follow what Cummins did , only the weak . Like being told to ‘jump in a lake’ .

You are misguided and foolish to make excuses to break rules and prolong this nightmare. No holidays, work, football, other sport, theatre, concerts all in hold because of Cummins? Poppycock!
Did you not see the photos of Bournemouth beach when we were
supposed to be having a phased return to normal after lockdown .
What was it again half a million people and covid didn't spike? Your point is what?
Didnt spike , but didnt go away either did it .
Maybe just lurked around waiting to mutate .

Who knows, i just put this out there & let ofhers respond

I hear ya, but I think we've accepted it's going to be a bit of a bloodbath in the next few weeks and the infections coming down is at least a sign that the deaths will eventually start to drop after that.
Dont be accepting of it Smed ,

1,280 deaths reported today. 4,262 patients admitted, which means the growth in that stat is starting to drop. Hopefully this time next week we're talking about it falling.

Percentage of tests proving positive last week 12.03%. This Week 8.89%. Clear evidence that the Lockdown in starting to work, Hopefully the downward trend in cases will continue and hospital patients and deaths will fall in the next two weeks.

Over 349,000 Vaccinations yesterday which would give 2,443,000 over a 7 day period. Probably need to get that up to about 430,000 a day by early next week to reach the target of vaccinating those most at risk by 15 February.

Do you reckon people on the German 4th tier Chemie Leipzig forum are whining about their government's vaccine rollout?

Only 750,000k jabs when the much smaller UK has done 2.6 million? Merkel has failed our country, blood on her hands etc

I hope so

I haven't sussed out the strawman yet, still working on whatabouterry before Pammy moves me onto that one.

The point is pretty clear.

I didn't discount them on purpose, the NHS England stats don't include them and I didn't realize. Govt dashboard a better data source now.

Straw man- nobody is saying people aren't dying.
