Deleted the other thread now the name of this one has been changed
Midfielder, was on loan at Blackpool, but that has been cancelled so we can sign him. Any good? 2.5 year deal is unusual for us.

2 footed. Plays on the right. Young. Likes to take players on. JMD won’t be getting a new contract then.

Couple of games putting out fires all over the place with Ling behind him will soon take its toll.

Re: New Signing - Dan Kemp from West Ham
That’s the weirdest new signing video I’ve ever seen, looks like a soft porno (probably).
Good luck to the lad, never heard of him but just had a quick look over the Blackpool forum and although not raving about him, they’re sure he’s good enough for L2. Look forward to seeing him tomorrow.
The two questions off the back of this are who is going, Dayton?, JMD?, both?, and how will he fit into our lopsided 3-5-2?

8 games at League 1 recently so he turns up fit. My WHU mate at work rates him, so lets hope he's more than useful.

I don't like to generalise but West Ham fans are generally clueless, hence seeking an opinion from the Blackpool forum.

Re: New Signing - Dan Kemp from West Ham
Replacing Dayton I guess since JMD has fallen out of favour. I reckon we have known that we could not agree a new contract with JMD for a while now and that is why Dayton has been more in favour despite being inadequate for this level.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 3:44 pm That’s the weirdest new signing video I’ve ever seen, looks like a soft porno (probably).

I guess there might be knock-on moves that impact Wilkinson's place on the right side of the team and Kemp taking his place (e.g. Johnson leaving and Wilkinson playing centrally), but the more likely is he is one of the midfield three.

We certainly have some great options for free kicks on the edge of the box.

Re: New Signing - Dan Kemp from West Ham
Seemed to remember him looking good whenever he's played against us for West Ham or Stevenage and think he was really well thought of a few years ago.
Good signing on paper, well done Orient. We've needed a proper right winger for a while.

Re: New Signing - Dan Kemp from West Ham
When the right player comes up you don't pass the chance I guess, but we have what, 6-7 players who are either wingers or are playing out there? Dennis, Brophy, Sotriou, Dayton, Wilkinson, JMD, Angol. Hopefully this means we're shifting a couple out as our squad looks very unbalanced, particularly since despite having that many wingers, we're inexplicably playing Angol at LW. Maybe Kemp will be playing inside forward out left.

Re: New Signing - Dan Kemp from West Ham
Sounds like he can play as a no.10, or on either winger. Quite an exciting player based on what the Blackpool fans are saying.
