Most of the laws were only adopted after the uk joined the EEC/Eu
Most are being retained which is good. Look at what Poland and Hungary are proposing regarding gay issues these days.
So what you are saying is countries within the EU
Can in fact actually create there own laws , as you've just
Said with regard to Hungary & Poland .
So why did we leave again ?
We left because 17.4 million people voted to leave . Despite the likes of Scottish Nationalists,Labour, Lib Dem’s, Major, Blair, Hestletine, Grieve, Soubry, Lord Adonis and the rest of the Undemocratic lot trying to frustrate and overturn a Democratic vote, The current PM ‘got Brexit done’ after a Landslide election Victory with an 80 seat Majority. Democracy prevailed. Anyone who does not like us being out of the EU, should enter politics and campaign, like Farage did for years to get us out, to get us back in.
The whinging , sour grape rhetoric, nonsense is getting the Remoaners nowhere. We have left, been out a year, few weeks after transition, we have not fallen off a cliff, crashed out and left with a deal. Any teething problems like customs in the EU confiscating ham sandwiches from Lorry Driver’s packed lunches, will be resolved for the benefit of the UK and the EU.
As for Hungary and Poland, they are having a right wing surge and it is likely that one of these or another will leave. The pressures on the EU are going to be huge financially, like our own. Who knows, not our problem now.
