What’s that got to do with the pros and cons of a Academy?
1 of which he has been involved in since 2006.
You keep saying why waste money on an academy ,
Well why waste money not having one .
He decided to dump the Academy and has made a profit 100 m on transfers as well as making Brentford a top 6 Championship side.
He wouldn’t have done that by bringing through his own players because the best ones would have been nicked before making the first team.
STILL WRONG

Benham has also invested in two football clubs. In 2006 he invested in the Brentford football club, which he is now the owner of, and in 2014 he invested in the Midtjylland football club, which is he is now the majority shareholder of. Combined, Brentford has invested HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF POUNDS into these two football clubs in order to save them from financial ruin and see them flourish. Matthew Benham is now the owner of not only two companies, but also of two football clubs – he even built a stadium that seats 20,000 people.
Note the Capital letters .
He has simply regained a £100 million of his initial
HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS invested .
