I must admit that the really long threads that sometimes dominate this mb can be a bit off putting. I’d love to see a section dedicated to these monster threads so that anyone who wants to Tory Watch or Labour Watch can do so without clogging up the vitality of the board.
Of course the petty arguing can be very tedious too but in the main I think this mb functions well.
In all the years I have boarded I only once foed one person and that was Spen666!who was a prize bellend whose retirement from this MB was a blessing.

The two boards are very different and I frequent both.
On this one I try always to be restrained, take note of other people’s opinions, respect them and openly agree when a fellow boarder makes a point I hadn’t considered. Though at times I perhaps don’t always meet the highest of standards I accept nobody’s perfect. I’m certainly not.
On the other one I’m more than happy to mix it. Something over the years I’ve discovered I have a natural talent for. Quite enjoyable in its own way.
I call the two the smart side and the dark side. There is a place for both.

as if anyone on an orient MB cared about what he did
during his work life . Good luck to them is what i say .

I'm a member of the lesser place but haven't posted in years (just checked, 2014). On the above thread MungO seems to be telling a few porkies ("I often login over there and go in on the wind up"). He hasn't posted on here since 2019. Awesome posts mind.
