You can bet your bottom dollar, any trade deal will be advantageous to the yanks. We'll be desperate for trade deals if we leave with a no deal, and Trump will exploit that, you can bet

Two of the best investigative journalists with prosecutorial background. Seth Abramson and Rachel Maddow. Washington Post and NYT journalists usually get the picture too. Its not fake news.
Just Google the latest Trump associate that was arrested yesterday, George Nader. A complete slime ball and crook. Is it just me but how could you surround yourself and be associated with so many crooks?
I could go on but there is far too much to go into.
Google "Active Measures", it's pretty damning documentary on Trump over the years. The UK in the EU makes its position much stronger when doing trade negotiations. He wants to bully each state individually.
The recent CNN special report documentary is good also "The Trump Family Business"

Re: Tory Watch
This ought to be information that is being shouted from the rooftops really but with most of the media on Trumps side it won't be. Brexiters talk of the EU superstate as the common enemy. Trump must laugh himself to sleep every night at just how childishly naive we are. He's our biggest ally don't you know.....RoryRocks wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 11:12 pmStowaway wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 11:05 pmIt’s usually considered good manners to credit the source you git that piece from, y’know.RoryRocks wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:45 pm Think about it. So Matt Hancock calls out Jeremy Corbyn (with no actual evidence) for being anti-Semitic. I must have missed the time he (or any Tory for that matter) called out Boris Johnson (with lots of actual evidence) for being anti-islamic.

Michael Gove having to admit to taking the type of cocaine that is a regrettable mistake which one shouldn't be judged too harshly for. Luckily for him it wasn't the other kind favoured by kids from council estates that makes you a menace to society and means you need locking up.

Re: Tory Watch
Corbyn has failed miserably to deal with the anti-Semitic element in his party. As leader he has a responsibility to clamp down on this and the recently announced investigation, which is a major embarrassment to Labour, is evidence enough of his attitude on this issue.Disoriented wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 8:14 pm So Matt Hancock calls out Jeremy Corbyn (with no actual evidence) for being anti-Semitic. Of course there is always likely to be people in both parties whose views can be called anti-something.but the current state of Labour suggests it’s not an isolated minority but much wider.
I would have liked to see him speaking out with such passion on anti-semitism as he does on other issues. He is guilty through inaction.

Breaking news direct from Thor Towers, as readers will know we are an impartial news reporting source and today we bring you news that Glyn Williams who was Head of Migration Policy at the Home Office during the wind rush scandal and possibly helped develop the “hostile environment policy” has been knighted. Once again the elite continue to look after themselves and their little club.
We say there are more deserving people out there who should be recognised before such people as Mr Williams.

I see “centrist” Rory Stewart has flung out the idea of bringing back National Service. Always plays well with the older Tory members. Surely, one of the field will get desperate for attention and be pitching hanging & flogging soon...

Is it not possible to be a centrist and pro-national service then?

Heh - now Leadsom admits to toking on a Camberwell Carrot at Uni. Oh for the days when Tory bigwigs only admitted to running through wheatfields as their naughty youthful indulgence.

One assumes that Johnson had a dossier on some of his leadership rivals and was threatening to smear them, so they've pulled his fangs with these admissions.
Saw an amusing post earlier saying that Chris Grayling had admitted snorting coke but claimed he didn't like it 'cos it was too fizzy.

There's no better anti-drugs advert than Andrea Leadsom doing them.

Re: Tory Watch
Boris, prior to this said that the minimum amount spent on any childs education should be £5k. Which will go to the poorer areas of the country.
Tax cuts for the rich- no. For the better off - yes. But historically the top 5% paid the higher rate, now it is the top 15%. So just converting to norm. However, it is likely that national insurance will also be raised accordingly, which means that the top 5% will have to pay more.
Just to say that I have no opinion on the tax side as it depends on how the tax system is adapted.
