Needed to happen, not working for him nor the club these days. The Cheltenham goal was the perfect moment though and glad he was the one to do it.

Shame it didn't work out as he obviously cared about the club and seems like a decent bloke, but is a bit of a nothing midfielder. Hopefully this opens space in the squad to bring in the high quality no. 8 we need if we're going to seriously challenge for the play offs.

It’s a shame that he never got to play for Justin as I feel that he would have got the best out of him playing to his strengths and not messed around like he’s been by dumbleton.

Re: Bye bye Josh.
He won’t have been cheap.
Assuming we’re able to use the money saved on another midfielder, and not simply save Nige and Kent a few bob, this is bloody great news.
All this ‘thanks for your efforts’ and help cared about the club’ is a load of bollocks.

Am happy with this. As Hotdog says its a weight off the payroll for a non-starter - and I reckon he could be a negative influence too. I can't see us reinvesting all of his wages, but if we could shift Turley too (another non-starter) then we might be able to get someone in of real influence.

Best for all parties really. Glad we have him off the books as he wasn't great at all for us.
Also a good sign that we've started clearing out the deadwood.

I assumed this was instigated by Josh rather than us. Someone said on here recently he had other ‘business’ interests to attend to?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 7:32 pm

Happy to be proven wrong if he signs for Barnet.

Imagine he’ll still have exactly the same influence on Orient games now he’s left.

To all those saying he wasn't any good for us, I would like to remind them he was top scorer last season
Good luck Josh

Re: Bye bye Josh.
Correct decision. No doubt one of the higher paid players. Seems more interested in his gym work outs. Bradford fans were right. Well done RE

I guess we'll find out. Could be business or football related if he has a two year offer lined up.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 7:35 pmI assumed this was instigated by Josh rather than us. You know they’re sorting out a new 2 years deal as we type, don’t you?

Re: Bye bye Josh.
I recall an away game against Crewe at the end of the 2014/15 season where his five yard sideways passes were off the scale. They were balletic and a joy to watch. Will miss the guy.
