It was clear that we were going to have to do this based on the figures from before Christmas. Boris should swing for this.

Well, yeah, but come on. Other polls show that, when balanced across constituencies, Labour and Tories are polling at 284 and 282 seats respectively. But it is still surprising to see that on a straightforward percentage share, people are actually impressed with government handling.

Our daughter, who is an RAF Reservist, has just been asked if she is available to go to 72 hours notice of mobilisation from midnight (to assist with medical services she reckons - it's not a military coup yet, she assures me ) - she's been on 14 days notice since 1st December.

Covid numbers today are 13.71% positive.

A friend also mentioned to me today that they think 111 changed its directive end November, so that more people were being directed to hospitals. This is the 3rd source I have heard this from.

The more you test the more you find.

Can't remember if I posted this before from ONS. I think this was for the first 11 months in 2020. Number of deaths 470k. For under 60's 17k accidents, 4.8k suicides as we go down the list 0.655k falling down the stairs and finally 0.377k covid. Suicides is up significantly sadly.
