What an interesting man he was.
I have always been a fan of his. He was a real legend.

I liked the way he burned down chimneys. A monument that lived its life by fire died by fire.

To me, he was a very interesting , knowledgeable person. He obviously impressed people in TV to get such exposure.

I confess to also watching Dibnah back in the day. As someone who can't stand heights, I watched fascinated as he climbed those bloody great chimneys without the protection of a parachute. Plus the demolishing by undercutting, pinning with timber, then burning was hugely skilful.
