To me, he was a very interesting , knowledgeable person. I confess to also watching Dibnah back in the day. As someone who can't stand heights, I watched fascinated as he climbed those bloody great chimneys without the protection of a parachute. Plus the demolishing by undercutting, pinning with timber, then burning was hugely skilful.
