Whatever you think of Farage, he possesses fantastic oratory skills. This was is final address to the EU before the UK left.
Imagine if he was in charge of Labour or the Lib Dem Party and had the same enthusiasm for their agenda as he did with leaving the EU.

I’m in the loathe camp, but admit I underestimated his ability to rally dunderheads to his cause, and there’s no denying the malign influence he’s had on our national politics.

The most successful politician of a generation.
Even though he’s not a politician, and has had loads of unsuccesses.

He's stood for parliament about 9 times, and lost every time. All these were in his local manor too.
I would say he's been spectacularly unsuccessful

I 'll just stick to loathing him. He is shallow, slimy, cringeworthy, intellectually corrupt, a terrible role model. Who would buy a used car off him? He is just loathsome and unelectable, as he has proved, beyond reasonable doubt. Put him out to grass with Donald Trump.

You will never witness me lauding praise or promoting Hitler .Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 9:42 am I knew this would be about either Hitler or Furrage before I clicked on it.

I could never vote for the man, but his oratory skills do exceed those of all current mainstream UK politicians. Our current PM has to take a break halfway through every sentence FFS.

Re: Love him or loathe him, he is a great orator .
He's only unsuccessful if you measure political success by winning votes only in general elections. But, if you measure political success by achieving your objectives through influencing beyond normal establishment boundaries, then he is about successful as it's possible to be. And his oratory skills played no small part in that.
He represents a movement that has changed politics. I'm firmly in the loathing camp, but recognise that we need to stop underestimating people like him. And ignoring their skills and achievements only does ourselves a disservice.

Getting us out of the EU - after 20 years or whatever of trying - isn’t breaking normal establishment boundaries. The establishment was already divided on it.
But yes, of course, he gives a great speech.

You think we'd have even had a referendum if it wasn't for him?
