Out of order. Just because her family business is a multi-billion pound organisation paying zero tax does not mean she doesn’t have strong socialist beliefs at heart. Reported you again.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2019 11:02 pmIts almost like Hodge has no political relevance within the Labour Party any more and is determined to use other means to either win it back or destroy it. Sometimes you wonder how strong her socialist beliefs were for a rich lady.Jeremy Bentham wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2019 10:58 pmThere's also thisComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2019 5:16 pm Thing is, this guy is probably right. Israel hate Corbyn mainly because he supports the Palestinians, and is critical of Israel.
Did anyone else see the documentary "The Lobby"?
This showed on s secretly filmed video, Israeli officials working for the State of Israel plotting to get rid of all politicians that are not sympathetic to Israel. It's worth a watch.... You can still access it via You Tube.
There's a famous bit where Joan Ryan MP, was bribed with a million quid to help Israel get rid of people who are critical of Israel.
The Israel lobby in the UK are, IMO far too powerful, including many MPs who seem to be more interested in Israel than they do Britain.
You can accuse Russia of anything, but accuse Israel, and you have a ton of bricks fall on you from a great height
and this
or this
Anyone who looks at the facts honestly could not possibly say Labour has a problem with antisemitism. That's not to say there is none but it has been vastly blown out of proportion when you consider the size of the membership.
Then you've got people like Margaret Hodge who call Corbyn antisemitic when he hasn't said anything detrimental to any race or religious grouping. It's pathetically transparent.

To be fair, it’s harsh to criticise any person because of their family. Not her fault what they do and indeed she may well dislike it intensely.

Just a tad hypocritical to take others to task on their tax paying arrangements when you’re a stake holder in a multi billion pound business that does exactly the same.

She was on a committee for tax dodging purposes and she personally complained about amazon and Starbucks etc. Let me be clear and rightly so.
Don’t then go and do the same sort of tax dodging stuff that your complaining about. That’s the hypocrisy.
The family fund from memory was also tied up in Panama. We all know the issues around that one as well.

A quick google of the name and you can see just how dodge - but completely legal, of course - the whole set up is.

Has anyone mentioned her involvement in the sexual abuse of children in Islington children's homes when she was leader of Islington council?
She's a nasty peice of work.
