Re: Change UK Watch
Will they Change UK weather to temperatures more like the Caribbean. I'm camping in Suffolk and it's cold, they may get my vote if they do something about it.
Re: Change UK Watch
Very strange name for a party that doesn't actually want to change much.
They say they dont want a change of government for a start
They say they want a peoples vote, but as long as it isnt a bye election in their constituencies.
No doubt after the next General Election when they get wiped out, they will get jobs in the City of London or directorships in companies etc

One or two of them have already got full time jobs as propagandists for Israel so they won't go short.Jonathan wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 3:21 pm Very strange name for a party that doesn't actually want to change much.

Having an opinion favourable to the existence of the state of Israel doesn't automatically mean that you are in their pay. The notion that Israel uses financial incentive to fund support overseas also plays into anti-semetic tropes about Jews using money to run the world

Except of course it isn't a notion at all. Israel funds a UK lobby to protect and promote their interests.Red_Army wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 4:01 pm Having an opinion favourable to the existence of the state of Israel doesn't automatically mean that you are in their pay. There was an investigation by Al Jazeera into the lobby which shows on film an Israeli Embassy employee offering £1m to Joan Ryan MP to promote the interests of Israel through vehicles like Labour Friends of Israel. Its all free to view on YouTube.
I don't know about you but I'm not comfortable with a UK elected representative working as an agent of a foreign power.
Not to mention their many contravention of International Law and their illegal occupation of neighbouring countries territory. As well as their suppression and brutal murder of innocent Palestinians.

This is possibly the most sensible post you’ve ever made.

Re: Change UK Watch
Also now they are an official party they should all stand down and fight a by election under the new party and let the people decide, of course that won’t happen as they would be turfed out.

Re: Change UK Watch
Had never been on MuggO's board until someone sent me a link the other day. Completely unmoderated, allows Doxxing to go unchallenged and spends loads of time posting about posts on here. Can see why I never bothered registering.

I didn’t even know there was another board. Or if I did, I’d forgotten. How did it come about?

Re: Change UK Watch
Been there for years. When the old official board post snitz was unreliable under Leo Tyrie, Mungo/Bushy set up an alternative initially called orientitis. Nearly all the regular posters signed up and it was moderated (Mikero and Cheekymonkey were 2 of them) but to an extent that it peed off quite a few. So nearly everyone piled back on the official board under Johnny Davis until Matt Porter decided to close it in our L1 playoff year and RichmO set up the unofficial phpBB board at the same time Coco took over the club. Then tapatalk bought the prophpBB hosting site last year and transferred us to their useless format with ever increasing ads until it came to a head this month and Crilly - praise be - opened this one instead.
About that time lots of fans then drifted away to facebook groups like R***r’s STFUO and twitter, so we’ve ended up with fragmented chat arenas. Which is a pity, but it’s horses for courses, I guess.
Not sure when MungO/Bushy switched from orientitis to lofcforum.net, but its small but dedicated band of users preferred to concentrate on Orient chat only, so it’s stayed pretty quiet for the most part.

Re: Change UK Watch
They are now a legitimate, if logo-less party, so deserve a page full of intelligently thought-out comment. Failing that, Max and anyone else can post on here.
